## Connection Requirements

### IP Address

Provide the IP address of the Attivo Networks Decoy host that will be used to establish a connection.

### Username

Enter the username that OctoXLabs CSAM Platform will use to access and fetch data from the Attivo Networks Decoy.

The user must have access to enable data retrieval from the system. To create a user with only API access:

* Go to Administration and navigate to User Accounts | Configuration to open the "Configure users" page.
* Click the Add button to open the "User add" page.
* Choose REST API as the Access type, fill in the necessary details, and then click the Save button to complete.

### Password

Provide the password associated with the specified username to authenticate the connection.

### Port

Specify the port number for the connection. This is optional; the default port is 8443.

### SSL

Select whether to use SSL for the connection. By default, SSL encryption is enabled.
