## Connection Requirements

### IP

IP address of the Attivo Networks Endpoints host.

### Username

The username which is going to be used by OctoXLabs CSAM PLATFORM Asset to fetch data from Attivo Networks Endpoints. The user needs to have "Rest API" Account Type on Attivo Networks Endpoints to read device data.

You can follow the steps below to create a user.

To create a user with only API access:

* Click Administration and navigate to User Accounts | Configuration. Configure users page is displayed.
* Click the Add button. User add page is displayed.
* Select the Access type as REST API. Enter the details in the remaining fields and click Save button.

### Password

The Password of the provided username.

### Port

Port number (optional, default: 8443).

### SSL

Use SSL for connection (optional, default: Encrypted).
