# BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)

## Connection Requirements

### Host

The address of your BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) server.

Port number (optional, default: **18084**).

### Tenant ID

Ask your organization’s BlackBerry UEM administrator for the tenant ID of the UEM domain.\
The administrator specifies the tenant ID during the UEM installation process.

### Username

The username of a UEM administrator account created in the BlackBerry UEM management console.

### Password

The password of the administrator account.

### Domain

Specifies the user's logon domain.\
Required for **AD (Active Directory)** and **LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)** authentication.

### Provider Type

Determines how the user will be authenticated. Choose one of the following:

* **AD** – Active Directory authentication
* **LDAP** – Lightweight Directory Access Protocol authentication
* **LOCAL** – Local authentication in UEM

### Is Secure?

Indicates whether the IP address is secure. (optional, default: **Secure**)
