# Checkpoint Quantum Management

## Connection Requirements

### IP

IP address of the Checkpoint Quantum Management.

### Port

Port number (optional, default: 443).

### API Key

Administrator API key

* Navigate to Manage & Settings → Permissions & Administrators → Administrators.
* Click the New icon to create a new administrator.
* Provide a name for the administrator.
* Set Authentication Method to API Key, then click Generate API key.
* A window will appear—click “Copy key to Clipboard” and save it securely. (You won’t be able to retrieve it again later.)

### Timeout

Time to return API call (default: 30).

### SSL

Use SSL for connection (optional, default: Encrypted).
