Connection Requirements

Domain

The domain of the Cisco AMP.

🔵 Default: api.amp.cisco.com

Client ID and API Key

Generating Client ID and API Key:

Generate API credentials

• Log in to your AMP for Endpoints Console.

Navigate to API credentials

• Go to Accounts > API Credentials.

Create a new credential

• Click New API Credential to generate an API Key and Client ID.

User with read access to devices.

⚠️ Attention Please perform a connection test to ensure there is a valid connection to the host. When the discovery operation is finalized, you will be able to see the details on the Assets page.
