Connection Requirements

IP or Hostname

The IP address or fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the EfficientIP SOLIDserver instance. Example: 192.168.10.25

Username

The username of the account authorized to access the SOLIDserver REST API. To create or verify an API user:

• Login to the SOLIDserver Administration Interface.

• Navigate to System → Users & Groups.

• Create a new user or select an existing one.

• Ensure that the user has API Access enabled.

• Assign the user to a group with Read or Read/Write rights for the desired objects (e.g., IPAM, DNS, DHCP).

🔵 "Read" The user must have at least Read privileges.

Password

The password associated with the provided username. This will be used for basic authentication to the SOLIDserver REST API.

⚠️ Attention Please perform a connection test to ensure there is a valid connection to the host. When the discovery operation is finalized, you will be able to see the details on the Assets page.
