## Connection Requirements

### IP or Hostname

The IP address or fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the EfficientIP SOLIDserver instance.\
Example: `192.168.10.25`

### Username

The username of the account authorized to access the SOLIDserver REST API.\
To create or verify an API user:

* Login to the SOLIDserver Administration Interface.
* Navigate to System → Users & Groups.
* Create a new user or select an existing one.
* Ensure that the user has API Access enabled.
* Assign the user to a group with Read or Read/Write rights for the desired objects (e.g., IPAM, DNS, DHCP).

### Password

The password associated with the provided username. This will be used for basic authentication to the SOLIDserver REST API.
