## Connection Requirements

### Domain

Domain address of the Forti SASE

### Username

The username which is going to be used by OctoXLabs CSAM PLATFORM Asset to fetch data from Forti SASE. The user needs to have "Read-only administrator" rights on FortiClient EMS to read details.

To create a user with API access:

* Log into the FortiCloud Identity & Access Management (IAM) portal as an IAM user with Admin permissions.
* Set up a resource-based permission profile of type Local allowing IAM users to access FortiSASE as a portal. See Creating a permission profile. It should have read access on reading endpoints
* Select Users from the left-hand navigation menu.
* Click Add New > API User.
* Select newly created permission profile from the Permission Profile dropdown list.
* Click Download Credentials. You can enter the generated credentials

### Password

The Password of the provided username.
