An API key is required to access the Gainsight PX API. To generate an API key:
Navigate to Administration > REST API to access the API Keys page.
Click New API Key.
Enter the following details:
Name: Enter a name for the API key.
Description: Enter a description.
Permissions: Configure the following permission: Read – allows GET calls to read PX data.
Click Generate.
Please perform a connection test to ensure there is a valid connection to the Gainsight PX host. When the discovery operation is finalized, you will be able to see the details on the Assets page.
