Connection Requirements

Domain

The domain of Gainsight PX.

Default: api.aptrinsic.com

API Token

An API key is required to access the Gainsight PX API. To generate an API key:

• Navigate to Administration > REST API to access the API Keys page.

• Click New API Key.

• Enter the following details:

  • Name: Enter a name for the API key.

  • Description: Enter a description.

  • Permissions: Configure the following permission: Read – allows GET calls to read PX data.

• Click Generate.

Please perform a connection test to ensure there is a valid connection to the Gainsight PX host. When the discovery operation is finalized, you will be able to see the details on the Assets page.
