## Connection Requirements

### Domain

The domain of Gainsight PX.

### API Token

An API key is required to access the Gainsight PX API. To generate an API key:

* Navigate to **Administration > REST API** to access the API Keys page.
* Click **New API Key**.
* Enter the following details:
  * **Name:** Enter a name for the API key.
  * **Description:** Enter a description.
  * **Permissions:** Configure the following permission:\
    **Read** – allows GET calls to read PX data.
* Click **Generate**.
