JFrog Platform

Connection Requirements

1 - Domain

The host of your JFrog Platform instance, without the scheme. For a cloud subscription this is your company name followed by .jfrog.io (e.g. yourcompany.jfrog.io); for a self-hosted platform it is the hostname or IP address of the JFrog server.

2 - Port

Port number of the JFrog Platform (optional, default: 443). A self-hosted platform usually serves the unified API on 8082.

3 - Username

Username of an internal Artifactory user with administrator privileges. Listing platform users requires administrator rights, so a non-admin account will authenticate but return no users.

4 - Password

Password of the user above.

The credentials are exchanged for a short-lived platform access token, so the following must hold in the JFrog Platform:

  • Token creation with basic credentials must be enabled under Administration > User Management > Settings.

  • The account must be an internal Artifactory user. Users coming from an external realm (LDAP, SAML, OIDC) cannot mint a token with basic credentials.

  • The account must not have multi-factor authentication enabled.

5 - Is Secure

Choose this if your connection is going to be over HTTPS (optional, default: True).

6 - Proxy

Proxy url. (optional)

7 - Timeout

The amount of time (in seconds) to wait for API responses. (default: 30)

8 - Thread Count

This adapter works in a multi-threaded manner. This field represents the number of parallel threads that is going to be constructed for sending API requests (default: 32, min: 1, max: 32).

9 - Sleep Time

Delay in seconds between thread batches (optional). Increase if encountering rate limit errors.
