Prey

Connection Requirements

1 - IP

Provide the IP (or host) address of the Prey server.

2 - Port

Specify the port number for the connection. This is optional, and the default port is 443.

3 - API Key

Enter the API Key that OctoXLabs CSAM Platform will use to fetch data from the Prey.

To create one or more API keys (you can configure different permissions, and add expiration dates), log into your Control Panel in the Prey website, visit the Settings menu and find the key generator in the Developer API tab.

4 - SSL

Select whether to use SSL for the connection. By default, SSL encryption is enabled.

Attention

It is recommended to perform a connection test to verify that a valid connection to the Prey host is established. Once the discovery process is complete, the details will appear on the Assets page.
