## Connection Requirements

### IP

Provide the IP (or host) address of the Prey server.

### Port

Specify the port number for the connection. This is optional, and the default port is `443`.

### API Key

Enter the API Key that OctoXLabs CSAM Platform will use to fetch data from the Prey.

To create one or more API keys (you can configure different permissions, and add expiration dates), log into your Control Panel in the Prey website, visit the Settings menu and find the key generator in the Developer API tab.

### SSL

Select whether to use SSL for the connection. By default, SSL encryption is enabled.

Please perform a **connection test** to ensure there is a valid connection to the host.\
When the discovery operation is finalized, you will be able to see the details on the **Assets** page.
