## Connection Requirements

### 1 - IP

Hostname or IP address of the RedSeal server (appliance).

### 2 - Port

Port number (optional, default: **443**).

### 3 - Username

The username of the RedSeal account used to connect. The account must have the **Model Admin** role to read hosts and network devices through the REST API.

### 4 - Password

### 5 - Is Secure

Choose this if your connection is going to be over HTTPS (optional, default: **True**). RedSeal is HTTPS-only.

### 6 - Timeout

### 7 - Thread Count

This adapter enriches each host with a detail and a metrics request in a multi-threaded manner. This field is the number of parallel threads used (default: **32**, min: **1**, max: **32**).

### 8 - Sleep Time

Delay in seconds between thread batches (optional). Increase if the appliance struggles under concurrent requests.
