Connection Requirements

IP or Hostname

IP address or Hostname of the Symantec DLP host.

Username

The Protect user is going to be used by OctoXLabs CSAM PLATFORM Asset to fetch data from Symantec DLP.

🔵 "Read-only" The value supplied in User Name must have permissions for Agent and Agent_group tables to fetch assets.

Password

The Password of the provided username.

Port

Port number (optional, default: 1521).

Sid

Sid (optional, default: protect).

Use Legacy Version

If you choose this option, connection will be established through cx_Oracle library.

Use Service Name

Use service name for authenticating.
