Connection Requirements

URL

URL of the Symantec Endpoint Security API server.

Default: api.sep.securitycloud.symantec.com

Client ID and Client Secret

Generated Client Id for a user that has the permissions to fetch asset details. To generate Client ID and Client Secret:

• Login to your Symantec Endpoint Security console.

• Press Integration > Client Applications.

• Press Add Client Application.

• Enter any name for the application and press the Add button. The client application details screen appears.

• Select "View" privilege for your client application. Press Save.

• Press the ellipsis and select Client Secret.

• Copy Client ID and Client Secret.

Https Proxy

IP addresses and port of the https proxy server (optional).

Please perform a connection test to ensure there is a valid connection to the host. When the discovery operation is finalized, you will be able to see the details on the Assets page.
