OctoXLabs 5.1.0 brings key updates to improve usability and flexibility. The Preview Screen now allows users without certain permissions to view chart details. Navigation is enhanced with Side Menu Clickable Areas Enlargement, and the search functionality has been upgraded with tenant-based search and search by query endpoint. Additionally, new proxy options for Microsoft Intune and Trend Micro Vision One adapters provide more network flexibility.
Major Features
Preview screen
With this feature, you have full control over user access to chart and device details through group-based permissions. You can define access levels based on user roles, ensuring only authorized users see specific information.
Users can be granted permission via “Groups” to view detailed chart data.
If granted access, they can see these details through “Device Inventory Preview”
Additionally, if further permission is given, they can also access the details of the displayed devices.
However, users cannot modify or make changes to queries.
This structured permission system ensures that visibility is entirely managed by you, allowing for precise access control based on roles and requirements.
