Notification Details

Clicking on a notification opens a detail screen, providing more information about the event.

Notification Management

From the listing screen, users can mark notifications as read either individually or in bulk, without needing to open the detail view

New Adapterized Discovery

With this enhancement, adapter-based discovery is now supported. Alongside the existing full discovery process, users can now customize schedules for adapters & connections. These actions can be managed either from the Adapter page for all connections or individually from the Connection Detail page.

Connection-Level Priority

Any schedule defined in the Connection Detail page will override the schedule set at the Adapter page level.

Full Discovery Option

When creating a schedule, users are asked whether the adapter should be included in the full discovery.

  • If desired, users can block an adapter from being discovered during a full discovery run.

Extended Dependency Map

With the updated dependency map, you can now not only view the connections between devices and other assets, but also explore additional relationship layers through those connections.

The assets that can be exported and imported are listed below:

  • Dashboards

  • Queries

  • Workflows

  • Profiles

  • Policies

  • Tags

You can export only the relevant assets using the action menus available on their respective pages, or you can export specific assets — or all assets at once — from Settings → Product Settings → Export / Import.

Import operations can only be performed through the settings screen.

During export, the following options are available:

  • Enable Tag Export – Determines whether tags should be included in the export package.

  • Include Hostnames – Determines whether manually assigned device tags that include hostnames should be added to the export package.

AI Supported Query Wizard

With this enhancement, the Query Wizard in the product interface is now AI-supported for Device Inventories, enabling users to create queries in their own natural language.

Natural Language Support

Users can type queries in the language they commonly use, and the system will automatically generate the corresponding structured query.

Editable Queries

Once a query is generated, users can further refine or finalize it manually before execution.

Initial Scope

The feature is first introduced in the Device Inventory page and will be expanded to other inventory pages in future iterations

Upgraded Report Framework

With the newly developed report template framework, our system can now operate seamlessly with the existing reporting structure while also supporting the generation of entirely new templates.

OctoXLabs:

The current report-generation mechanism remains fully supported under this option. In addition to the previous framework, the following capabilities have been introduced:

  • XLSX Format – Multi Query Support: Users can now select multiple queries, each of which will be written to a separate Excel sheet, enabling the creation of multi-sheet reports.

  • PDF Format – Multi Dashboard and Multi Query Support: PDF reports can now be generated using both multiple dashboards and multiple queries.

Device By Adapter:

This template allows users to export devices listed in the Device Inventory along with the adapter details installed on those devices.

  • Users may select single or multiple Saved Queries stored in the Device Inventory to generate the corresponding reports.

  • Note: The CSV format does not support Multi Query and this limitation should be taken into consideration.

Vulnerability By Device:

This template enables exporting vulnerabilities discovered on a per-device basis.

  • Users may select single or multiple Saved Queries stored in the Device Inventory to generate the corresponding reports.

  • Note: The CSV format does not support Multi Query and this limitation should be taken into consideration.

Software By Device:

This template allows exporting information about devices on which the selected software items (from the Software Inventory) are installed.

  • Users may select single or multiple Saved Queries stored in the Device Inventory to generate the corresponding reports.

  • Only the XLSX format is supported for this template

These enhancements can also be utilized directly from the respective inventory pages:

  • Device By Adapter: Can also be generated from the Device Inventory page.

  • Vulnerability By Device: Can also be generated from the Device Inventory page.

  • Software By Device: Can also be generated from the Software Inventory page.

Upgraded Software Inventory

The underlying infrastructure of the Software Inventory page has been redesigned. Through these changes, critical columns have been added to enhance the search capabilities and the Edit Columns functionality—standard across inventory pages—has now been incorporated into Software Inventory as well.

Edit Columns Enability
