# Release Notes - v6.5.0

We are pleased to announce the release of version 6.5.0. This update introduces new integrations, improvements to existing features, and several bug fixes. Below is a summary of the key updates included in this version

### Major Features

#### Octo AI Insight

With AI Insight, you can have the security scores of your device assets calculated by AI. To enable this feature, visit the Settings > AI Configuration page. From there, you can use the calculated scores when querying in the Query Wizard, and leverage the queries you create across the platform.

#### Tabbed Views Under Dashboard

Dashboards can now be grouped under a single parent title with tabbed navigation, allowing teams to organize and access multiple dashboards from one location\\

#### Multiple Custom License Import

License Inventory now supports bulk file import via Excel and CSV, enabling large sets of custom license records to be uploaded in a single operation\\

#### System Admin Mandatory MFA

System Administrators can now enforce multi-factor authentication for all platform users from Advanced Settings, and users without MFA configured are blocked from accessing other areas until setup is complete\\

#### Software Inventory Revision

Software Inventory detail page has been updated with a new Vulnerabilities tab displaying\
associated CVE details, severity scores, and filtering options alongside the existing software view\\

#### Scheduler Monthly Support

Schedulers now support monthly and bi-weekly recurrence options for report scheduling, in addition to the existing daily and weekly option

### Minor Features

* Discovery Center now shows separate Create Time and Start Time columns alongside an updated Duration field reflecting actual discovery execution time
* Adapter Connections page now displays inventory type icons for each connection, allowing users to quickly identify which inventories a connection populates
* Large file uploads now use chunk-based transfer to prevent Nginx size limit errors when \
importing large certificate lists or query export files
* Asset Explorer is now updated asynchronously after the full discovery pipeline completes, reducing resource contention during active discovery
* Users without the required permissions to view widget details are now redirected to a preview page instead of receiving an error
* Discovery Schedule page has been reverted to the list view with an optional calendar preview toggle for improved usability
* Vulnerability module activation is now tied to the Vulnerability license rather than the AVM token, allowing the module to run whenever the license is valid
* Vulnerability and Software inventory items now track first fetch time, enabling accurate historical data filtering and aggregation
* Done operations including device aggregation, tagging, and security score calculation have been significantly optimized using multi-processing and bulk updates, reducing total processing time
* Multiple connectors can now be added for the same DB or File adapter, enabling data collection from multiple sources within a single adapter type
* Virtual MAC addresses and APIPA IP addresses (169.254.x.x) are now excluded from device aggregation, reducing noise in device records
* Vulnerability by Device report now includes the Description field for each CVE entry
* The label "Softwares" has been updated to "Software" across the entire platform for naming consistency
* Ubuntu installation now checks for bzip2 and curl dependencies before proceeding, preventing failures in minimal environments
* CommVault adapter now collects Virtual Machine, File Server, Database Instance, and Exchange client data in addition to existing inventory
* Nexpose adapter now supports User inventory alongside existing device data
* CSC Global adapter now supports Domain Inventory
* VMware vCenter adapter now collects VM tag information
* Nessus adapter logging now includes total scan count and emits warnings when a specified folder ID or scan ID is not foun

### Resolved Issues

* Report Builder preview no longer shows empty columns for fields that have values in the \
 inventory or report output
* Time selection manual input now correctly applies the selected date and time without requiring additional interaction
* PDF Report duplication no longer loses Dashboard and Query references, ensuring duplicated reports retain the full original configuration
* Query Base Historical Widget Stale Discovery filter now correctly accounts for timezone \
differences, preventing valid discoveries from being incorrectly excluded
* Microsoft Certificate Authority adapter now supports Kerberos authentication, resolving \
 connection failures in Windows-integrated environments
* Grafana adapter Users JSON mismatch has been corrected
* Brandefense Elastic Parse issue has been resolved
* Delinea Secret Server adapter configuration serializer mismatch has been resolved
* Wazuh and Splunk adapters no longer fail due to timestamp format mismatches
* OpenText Network Node Manager adapter request headers and response parsing have been corrected
* Tenable IO adapter thread worker and sleep variables are now correctly initialized
