Release Notes - v6.5.0

Release Date: May 2026

We are pleased to announce the release of version 6.5.0. This update introduces new integrations, improvements to existing features, and several bug fixes. Below is a summary of the key updates included in this version

Major Features

Octo AI Insight

With AI Insight, you can have the security scores of your device assets calculated by AI. To enable this feature, visit the Settings > AI Configuration page. From there, you can use the calculated scores when querying in the Query Wizard, and leverage the queries you create across the platform.

Tabbed Views Under Dashboard

Dashboards can now be grouped under a single parent title with tabbed navigation, allowing teams to organize and access multiple dashboards from one location

Multiple Custom License Import

License Inventory now supports bulk file import via Excel and CSV, enabling large sets of custom license records to be uploaded in a single operation

System Admin Mandatory MFA

System Administrators can now enforce multi-factor authentication for all platform users from Advanced Settings, and users without MFA configured are blocked from accessing other areas until setup is complete

Software Inventory Revision

Software Inventory detail page has been updated with a new Vulnerabilities tab displaying associated CVE details, severity scores, and filtering options alongside the existing software view

  • Multiple connectors can now be added for the same DB or File adapter, enabling data collection from multiple sources within a single adapter type

  • Virtual MAC addresses and APIPA IP addresses (169.254.x.x) are now excluded from device aggregation, reducing noise in device records

  • Vulnerability by Device report now includes the Description field for each CVE entry

  • The label "Softwares" has been updated to "Software" across the entire platform for naming consistency
