## Connection Requirements

### IP

IP address of the FortiClient EMS.

Port number (optional, default: 8443).

### Username

The username which OctoXLabs CSAM PLATFORM Asset will use to fetch data from FortiClient EMS. The user must have "Read-only administrator" rights on FortiClient EMS to read details.

You can follow these steps to create a user with API access:

* Go to Administration > Admin Roles.
* Click Add.
* Enter the details in the remaining fields.
* Configure the permissions as "Read-only administrator".
* Click Save.

### Password

The password of the provided username.

### SSL

Use SSL for connection (optional, default: Encrypted).
