Connection Requirements

1 - IP

IP address of the FortiClient EMS.

2 - Port

Port number (optional, default: 8443)

3 - Username

The username which is going to be used by OctoXLabs CSAM PLATFORM Asset to fetch data from FortiClient EMS. The user needs to have "Read-only administrator" rights on FortiClient EMS to read details.

Note: You can follow the steps below to create a user.

To create a user with API access:

1. Go to Administration > Admin Roles.

2. Click Add.

3. Enter the details in the remaining fields

4. Configure the permissions as "Read-only administrator".

5. Click Save.

4 - Password

The Password of the provided username.

5 - SSL

Use SSL for connection (optional, default: Encrypted)

Attention

Please perform a connection test to ensure there is a valid connection to the FortiClient EMS host. When the discovery operation finalized you will be able to see the details on Assets page.
