Connection Requirements

1 - IP

Provide the IP (or host) address of the Red Hat Automation Controller server.

2 - Port

Specify the port number for the connection. This is optional, and the default port is 8013.

3 - Username

Enter the username that OctoXLabs CSAM Platform will use to fetch data from the Red Hat Automation Controller.

The user must be configured with the "System Auditor" role.

4 - Password

Provide the password for the specified username to authenticate the connection.

5 - SSL

Select whether to use SSL for the connection. By default, SSL encryption is enabled.

Attention

It is recommended to perform a connection test to verify that a valid connection to the Red Hat Automation Controller host is established. Once the discovery process is complete, the details will appear on the Assets page.
