Trend Micro Deep Security

Connection Requirements

1 - IP or Hostname

IP address or Hostname of the Trend Micro Deep Security host.

2 - API Secret Key

Created API Key for a user that has the permissions to fetch asset details.

1. Go to Administration > User Management > API Keys.

2. Click New.

3. In the Properties window, enter a Name and Description for the API key.

4. Click the role list and select a role. The Auditor grants read-only access to the Deep Security Manager via the API, while Full Access grants both read and write access.

5. Select a Language.

6. Select a Time Zone.

7. Optionally select Expires on and select an expiry date for the API key.

8. Click OK.

9. Copy the Secret key value.

Note: Make sure you copy the secret key value now, it won't be shown again.

3 - Port

Port number (optional, default: 4119).

4 - SSL

Use SSL for connection (optional, default: Encrypted).

Attention

Please perform a connection test to ensure there is a valid connection to the Trend Micro Deep Security host. When the discovery operation finalized you will be able to see the details on Assets page.
