## Connection Requirements

### IP

IP address of the SolarWinds Orion.

Port number (optional, default: 17774).

The username which is going to be used by OctoXLabs CSAM PLATFORM Asset to fetch data from SolarWinds Orion.

### Password

The Password of the provided username.

### Custom Properties

Specify custom properties configured in your SolarWinds Orion instance to include them in device data collection. Enter each custom property name exactly as it appears in SolarWinds (e.g., "City", "Company", "Nodetype"). Important: Property names should not contain spaces. Use underscores instead (e.g., "Alarm\_assignee" not "Alarm assignee"). Leave empty if you don't need to collect custom properties.

### SSL

Use SSL for connection (optional, default: Encrypted).

### Timeout

Define the maximum duration, in seconds, before the connection is automatically closed if there is no response. This field is optional and defaults to 30 seconds. Adjust this value if your network or server configuration requires a longer timeout period.
