## Connection Requirements

IP address of the Vmware host.

The credentials for a user account that has the Required Permissions to fetch assets.

Use SSL for connection (optional, default: Unencrypted).

To create a read-only user in vCenter, first, log in as an administrator. Then, navigate to , and from the left-hand menu, click Users and Groups. Under the Users tab, select the appropriate domain from the "Domain" field and click Add User to fill in the new user's details. Finally, go to Global Permissions from the left menu, add a 'Read-only' permission for this user, and make sure the Propagate to children checkbox is selected.
