Symantec Endpoint Protection

Connection Requirements

1 - Domain

Your organization's domain name.

2 - IP or Hostname

IP address or Hostname of the Symantec Endpoint Protection host.

3 - Username

The username which is going to be used by OctoXLabs CSAM PLATFORM Asset to fetch data from Symantec Endpoint Protection.

The user must be in the "system admin" role on Symantec Endpoint Protection to read device data.

4 - Password

The Password of the provided username.

5 - Port

Port number (optional, default: 8446).

6 - SSL

Use SSL for connection (optional, default: Unencrypted)

Attention

Please perform a connection test to ensure there is a valid connection to the Symantec Endpoint Protection host. When the discovery operation finalized you will be able to see the details on Assets page.
